More than a traditional car show, GIMS Qatar 2023 was an amplified festival of car culture and excellence, spreading beyond the exhibition halls and allowing visitors and guests to join a series of experiences in the city and the desert beyond.

CLASSICS GALLERY
Venue: DECC
Format: 7-day ticketed event
From fabled maharaja cars to a Popemobile, the Classics Gallery offered an exclusive line-up of the world’s greatest and finest motorcars, showcasing some of the best cars ever made and top concourse winners. The star car of the show was Qatar’s very own, the Rolls-Royce Phantom V delivered new to the then Amir of Qatar HH Sheikh Ahmad Bin Ali Al Thani after it was showcased at the 1962 Geneva International Motor Show.

FUTURE DESIGN FORUM
Venue: National Museum of Qatar
Format: 5-hour exclsuive event
Partnering with Qatar Auto Museum (QAM) and Car Design News (CDN), GIMS Qatar explored the future of car design, hosting a curated and selected set of discussions that specifically tackled the potential for bold new design directions for luxury and supercars.

TRACK DAYS
Venue: Lusail International Circuit

Feel the thrill of driving at the all-new Lusail International Circuit. In partnership with QMMF, GIMS Qatar organised three exclusive track nights for brands and their guests to enjoy premiere access to the circuit right after the F1 champions. After all, why spectate when you can drive?

OFFROAD ADVENTURES
Venue: The Outpost Al Barari, Sealine

The Sealine Adventure Hub and its exclusive offroad display, located at the luxurious Outpost Al Barari, offered adventure seekers the opportunity to explore the surrounding dunes and see first-hand the capabilities of automotive brands as they conquer the toughest terrains.

URBAN PLAYGROUND

The Urban Playground brought the passion and energy of GIMS Qatar to life with engaging performances and interactive activities, including car demos, concerts, a drone show and the stunning Parade of Excellence of dream cars and unique models cruising along Lusail Boulevard’s 1.3km iconic strip.
