08.29.2023 – Day 2 – Ascona to Mestre via Bergamo – 372 km

Departure from the Park Hotel Eden.
It’s 17 degrees out. The overnight charge restored 92% of the battery (a range of 389 km) for our second leg to Mestre.
First stop at Locarno station. There we say goodbye to Sandro, who is returning to Geneva by train.
Second stop in Como. Battery level: 76% (335 km), current consumption Ø: 15.3/100km, speed Ø 48 km/h. Our shoot was above the lake with a view of the cathedral.
We then move on to Bergamo.
Battery: 54% (253 km), average consumption: 16.2 kWh/100 km. Finding a recharging station in the area is tricky. Either the few chargers available are already taken, or there aren’t any charging stations at all! Luckily, we found what we were looking for at a Porsche dealership. With 40 minutes of charging, we recover 87% of the battery (413 km).
From there, we drive to Bergamo airport, where Rainer Zietlow is waiting for us from Barcelona.
