08.31.2023 – Day 4 – Zadar to Dubrovnik via Split – 387 km
7:30 a.m.
Departure under sunny skies and 21.5°C. Since we couldn’t recharge overnight, we set off in search of a charging point. The first we found? Taken. The second? Faulty. The third? An Ionity terminal that works!
9:41 a.m.
With our batteries at 92% charge (412 km), we set off for Split, where the next recharging point will be the Audi Centar.
11:15 a.m.
Arrival at the Split Audi Centar. This leaves us with a range of around 170 km, with current consumption to date at 19.6 kWh/100 km.
Rainer and the Minoukis take the chance to go shopping in a mall.
12:00 p.m.
We’re back on the road towards Dubrovnik with a 100% battery charge (428 km).
We’ll be travelling along the coast from Zadar to Dubrovnik. The landscape is beautiful, with stunning bays and several islands. This is a perfect chance to take pictures of the coast with a drone along the way. We stop off at the impressive Peljesac bridge, which links southern Croatia and Dubrovnik to the rest of Croatia without crossing the Bosnian border.
6:55 p.m.
Arrival at Dubrovnik City Hotel.
Unfortunately, we won’t have time to visit Dubrovnik’s old town. This is really a shame! It’s a place we would have liked to see.
Total distance covered: 1593 km, daily stage 387 km.
