The “Tour d’Excellence Epilogue” started in Doha at the DECC (Doha Exhibition and Convention Center) where the “Tour d’Excellence” ended on September 30th, 2023 after an exciting and iconic electric journey from Geneva to Doha.
Crossing the borders of the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia twice in the same day to finally enter the United Arab Emirates in strong winds and sandstorms for over 200 km was a unique experience in itself – thanks in particular to the many hours spent at customs, immigration and security as an exotic foreigner from far away. Switzerland? Never heard of it… Arriving at the Swiss Embassy in Abu Dhabi felt like coming home.
